2. How would your name be different in the other countries mentioned in the reading? If I lived in Korea then my surname comes before my given name and it stays that way even after marriage. The same rule’s applied in Japan, except the surname is replaced by their husband’s surname after marriage. In the US, my surname would be placed after my given name and then replaced by the husband’s surname after marriage

3. What would you tell a foreign visitor about the naming traditions in your country? Many people in Indonesia don’t really use family name or surname, but the others still used their clan name as their surname, for example like the Batak people, Manado family's, etc.
